Lean Six Sigma is, by definition, a blending of the tools and techniques of both Lean and Six Sigma. So how much of each gets emphasized in your company? That depends on you. The AIT Master Black Belts working with you on your program will help you decide the right mix and curriculum for your business based on the type of business challenges you face. We customize everything so it fits with your company: training materials, case studies, simulations, etc. These elements are all critical to a good learning experience and, ultimately, project success.
Classic Lean Six Sigma deployment elevates the capabilities of your organization into recognized levels. Green Belt training and certification is the foundational level of applied Lean Six Sigma experience and is usually based on one to two weeks of training. The Black Belt training and certification is the core of the program, developing skilled practitioners with four to five weeks of applied training and project expectations that often produce benefits ten times the training investment.
After trained Black Belts have had multiple successful project experiences applying Lean Six Sigma, a select few demonstrate the ability to become Lean Six Sigma leaders and instructors. This level is referred to as the Master Black Belt training and certification level. AIT develops these select few to basically do what we do. These internal Master Black Belts are your company's avenue to achieving self-sustainability.
