Paradigm Shift
Often business challenges involve multiple organizations, processes and enabling systems that are plagued by a multitude of interrelated issues. The organization may even have some ideas how to improve parts of the situation, but these fixes aren't universally supported and may result in functional sub-optimization. No end-to-end solution exists and the business needs a paradigm-shifting, game-changing solution that's going ​to rapidly create a step change in performance. What do we do? 

AIT has developed a Business Process Reengineering methodology it calls Value Chain Transformation (VCT) to address these more complex challenges. Many of the techniques used in VCT leverage our Lean Six Sigma capabilities, but VCT places a very high priority on building cross-functional consensus around both the understanding of the current As-Is problems, as well as the desired ​To-Be solution.  

So why is a structured approach like VCT so important to doing Business Process Reengineering successfully? The simple answer is the challenge is too complex to be addressed without structure.
